We ordered bunk beds early June 2009. When they were delivered, they were missing two attached deep drawers. Alperts employees stated that they were on backorder, along with five other sets of drawers. After a month and a half, we began to call every week to check on our order. Every time we called, all we got was, they should be in next week. Not once did they call us to update the order. The owner Rick called us but not until we requested that he do so to give us an update. He did return our call but gave us the same answer, we hope they will be in next week. Upon delivery, the driver unintentionally stated that most people don't order the drawers with the bunk beds and therefore the company waits to order them when they have numerous orders. He stated it is not cost effective to just order one or two drawers on a shipment. This leads me to believe that our drawers were never ordered in June. Not until they had enough orders to fill their needs. When the drawers were put together, they did a bad job. I had to adjust the knobs with screws that I had, as the ones they used were not long enough and left the knobs loose. This is the first and last time we purchase from Alperts. We thought we would give a smaller store an opportunity and we were mistaken.

I do not want anything from Alperts. I am so sick of dealing with them. My only reason for filing this review is for others to read these comments and think twice before making any purchases from this store.
