Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky company!
|
Years ago, I was tricked into accepting overpriced toner cartridges from this company because I was told another person (by name) at my office had approved the purchase. I accepted the cartridges, only to be told by the other person that he did not approve, but by that time we'd already paid for them. That experience swore me off all Internet and phone toner vendors forever. However, I guess I didn't learn my lesson. I recently received a phone call at work from "Steve" at Executive Imaging. He advised that "we've completed the audit on your printers and will be sending a catalog in the mail". I was busy and not fully paying attention (which I think they count on), and said OK to the catalog. He then said he would "send the two toner cartridges you have on back order on the split PO" and got off the phone before I could even formulate the words to ask what he was talking about, because I sure as heck didn't have anything on back order from THIS company! I warned everyone at the office to refuse the delivery, but it got delivered anyhow. We sent it back with a return receipt requested... we'll see what happens, but this company is blacklisted with our accounting department and they're going to have to sue us if they think we're going to pay for something that we did not pre-approve. As soon as I finish writing this review, I'm filing a complaint with the BBC in Canyon County, CA and with the FTC. I hate smarmy sneaky vendors.
