This company is telling customers that they are getting a REBATE and not following through
I am trying to purchase a product with my REBATE and the product is showing as INSTOCK AND NEW on their website....the company says that you have to fil out a form to receive your rebate however after doing that they do not send you any proof of that rebate and that you "just call and give the owner Steve Harper your email address and then choose what you want, everytime you call him he says the product you want is out of stock....then why if I am going to purchase online as a customer with a CC does it show as INstock...I believe that he is misleading customers to the point of advertising FRAUD.
I would like to get the NEW AIRPORT base that is listed on his website with my rebate
the cost is 94.00 plus tax and my rebate was $100.00
I checked online and found that their were other customers who have been trying for three months as I have to cash in our rebates and we keep getting put off.....I thought I had read that there was a 120 day time frame to use the rebate and when I asked Steve Harper he said no...but I think that is a lie.
I don't know if they are just avoiding letting customers use the rebate to buy new products or if they are just trying to avoid customers in general until the rebate expires but I want something done about this immediately since it is fraud and/or misleading...how do we even prove we have a REBATE when we are not given any kind of certificate or anything we are told to just call and order?? that seems convoluted to me....
