Lucky to 1 Star in my book.. SAVE your money DONT USE IMVU.
I have been in IMVU since 2007, I am a creator and WAS a devoted IMVU supporter. I have spent hundreds maybe thousands of dollars investing into a company I believed in was for the good.
I have spent many many hours creating content for their catalog.
I have made many friends around the world because of IMVU..
BUT
IMVU FAILS THEIR USERS, THEIR CREATORS, THEIR FINANCIAL BACKBONE
Disgruntled, Yes I am extremely..
* I have tolerated the the Credit Pend for Creators (WITHHOLDING REVENUE for 14 DAYS)
* I have tolerated crappy software upgrades that crash my high end computers,
I have tolerated poor customer service,
* I have tolerated the numerous issues that IMVU throws at its users and creators
NOW my account has been "Temporarily suspended" for making a post to the Pulse Board about 2 account for sale - NOT MY ACCOUNTS
What I posted was to contact me if anyone was interested.
IMVU wants to stand by their Terms of Service when it suits them.. and when it doesnt they change the TOS.
TOS STATES: "You may not sell, transfer, give, or otherwise surrender YOUR account or account password to another party. "
They suspend my account for posting for someone else - my post never said it was my accounts for sale. SO... IMVU needs to REWORD THEIR TOS TO SAY
"yours/any/all accounts" if they want to suspend someone..
IMVU has wrongfully suspended my account and NOT FOLLOWING THEIR OWN TOS.
IMVU has recently rolled out a new feature - PORTALS Ooooo Cool you say?
The Portal Concept, idea, coding for it.. IMVU STOLE FROM A CONTENT CREATOR, a typical user like you and me.. DID THEY PROVIDE CREDIT. UM NOPE~!
They just flat out stole it, called it new and said here you go. Its ok for IMVU to steal content???? Cough..
IMVU has gone down severely in the past 2 years and I WARN EVERYONE TO NOT JOIN THIS COMPANY, NOT PAY THIS COMPANY, until they make some serious changes to their upper management team.. BAD BAD IMVU... Be lucky you got the one star.. if i could choose NONE.. I would have given you a - 100 stars.
You violate the law everyday... One day you will piss off the wrong people.
