Nextar is the worst GPS System that I have come around to. I did contact the company about my problem with the GPS not working because my charger no longer was working since it needed a fuse. When I contacted the company the response they gave me was that I would need to buy a new charger because they don't sell the fuses separately. Are you kidding me. I'm not about to pay over $20.00 for a charger not counting s/h for everytime that fuse blows out. By the end of it if I keep buying these chargers I'll have a whole collection of chargers that don't work because Nextar doesn't provide the sell of a fuse. I did contact BBB and told them my story and of course Nextar said that as long as I have warranty I'm insured. Insured for only a year.. I'm not about to keep paying for insurance if it's not worth it. I would not recommend Nextar to anyone. They do deserve the D that BBB rated them. I would actually give them less then that.
Just found out from BBB that the last response from Nextar on 6/9/10 was that if I still wanted to replace the charger I would just need to send it in. What part of the complaint and the email above don't they understand. For each time the fuse blows out I'm suppose to order a new charger? What is wrong with these people. Might as well start a collection of chargers that don't work because the company that makes these chargers are not smart enough to also sell the fuses!!! Nextar is not a reliable customer to deal with and like I've stated before I would not recommend Nextar to anyone.
