I purchased a 37 inch LCD Protron television from Shop NBC last year, for what seemed like a great price. I only had the tv for 4 months before the problems started. This supposedly brand new television had sound but no picture. I called Shop NBC for help but was told they only offer a 3 month warranty and they gave me the number to Protron's service department, which was pointless. I could not understand anything the representative was asking/saying to me. Since the tv was still under warranty I was appalled to find out that I would have to pay to have it shipped to California!!! I live in Ohio so it cost me over $300 to have it shipped (and that is by ground). I am currently waitng on my new tv. I would just like to say buyer beware before purchasing anything from this bootleg company. Shame on Shop NBC for continuing to partner with a company that produces inadequate merchandise and dosen't have the integrity to back it up.
