Just about to renew my membership
Hello everyone and I hope your day is going well. My is Jenaya (LadyJay) and funny things I'm reading this review site because I was just about to renew my membership but something said wait and looking around to see what people have been saying about them lately. I joined SMC in 1999 to start my gift shop business and never really had a problem with them through out the years just a few minor bumps that you can get with any business. I always kept my membership active because somethings I couldn't get in places but as time went on like one person said here "the market got too saturated" with their products and I found myself looking for other product source. Nor did I like the fact that they practiced marketing against their own members, which is not good. As a company you cant offer a wholesaling program as an money making option then turn around and take that customer base for yourself by big TV advertisements. The average person can't compete with that and shouldn't have too. Here it is 2012 and time to renew my membership and their system wouldn't let me do it and just received a letter in the mail from them instead of them just answering my email and see they have a new name and mostly likely have been brought out by someone else with a real bad rap in the home business world...WOW good thing I started looking around before renewing because I wasn't sure if it was worth me renewing with them since I really don't use their products anymore. Everything happens for a reason! Thank you to all those that left your feedback here this really helps others avoid costly mistakes or stopping people from getting scammed out of their hard earn money when looking for a legit business. 13yrs in the gift shop business with many ups and downs I can STRONGLY say, people there are great home businesses out there you just have to keep doing your research, calling and speaking with company owners to feel them out. Find what you like to do and that will fit into your current lifestyle don't just jump at the next big thing because everything is not for everyone. And most of all don't give up on your goals!!
