This is a REALLY difficult business to deal with. The designers in the showrooms, if you get a nice one...Have no control or connection to the top guy, Vic. They do no return phone calls, nor do they make phone calls to ask about their product, or follow through in any way. In the same manner they do not proactively work to fix problems with their production, quality control or delivery of product. We ordered a sofa, chair, ottoman and lounge with two different color slip covers July of 2010. As of today, we are still unsatisfied with our product to the point where we no longer even call to get stuff fixed as we find more and more wrong. It all started with two days of promised deliveries with no one showing up or calls telling us they weren't showing up, we should have demanded our cash back from the beginning. We should have known something was not right...But they are a big company and are located in affluent areas and we just trusted that we were victims of a little glitch in their system. Yikes. Were we wrong there. When I had my first phone call with Vic about the backs of our stuff being the wrong sizes, he practically yelled at me and made me tear up!!! (My husband ended up dealing with them from then on.) Long story made short, our sofa was re made twice, our ottoman remade 3 times, the chair remade 2 or 3 times, I forget now. We didn't get all of the slip covers we paid for at the same time because of all of the mismatched furniture and remakes until way into 2011. When we moved into a new home in March, we had different light and noticed that none of the finishes on the bottom matched, they then had to fix that. We spent more than $3000 on this set and they "threw in" throw pillows. I washed them for the first time in cold, on gentle and they completely fell apart! When I took them back in, the rude sales woman told me that I got them for "free" and therefore I couldn't get them re-made. They didn't stand by their work! When we again called Vic...For the hundredth time, he was in a meeting...as always, we never got a call back. Recently, I got around to putting on my white slipcovers and found a hole in the seam of the inner cushion of my chaise. There were feathers everywhere when I took it off! I was so upset, I just put packing tape on the hole, vacuumed up the feathers, and re-covered it up. This company is the worst! Now that I have done a little research, I have found that they have negative reviews on yelp and ripoff report. It is very scary how similar all of the stories are! On yelp, they have some woman write untruthful rebuttals to all of the comments. Don't be fooled, do your homework and document all of the problems you encounter. I don't have the patience to deal with them. My husband and I are so sick of them, we no longer refer to them by name in our home to avoid the negative feelings we have about the whole year+ long saga. Don't get a custom sofa here. If you do...beware and don't be stupid like us and pay in cash. You will be sorry!
