Item ordered was cancelled even though I told the company I would wait.

For the most part, I had an easy experience. Most of my order came quickly. Because it is a gift for Christmas for someone else, I do not know if everything works right. I ordered 4 items. Item number 4, I was sent an email stating that it was "out of stock" so I had the option to cancel my order. I didn't want to cancel, so I didn't. I then received an email stating that my order would be cancelled unless I told them I didn't want it cancelled. I replied back stating that not only did I not want it cancelled but that their website lists my item as in stock (and sent a screen shot of it!). I then received an email stating that they cancelled my order...... In trying to call, I can't get through. They sent me this link to fill out, telling me that if there was a problem that they'd like a chance to fix it... so here it is; my first negative review ever. I still don't understand how I can request an order to not be cancelled & still have a company cancel it or why the company would not just automatically back order the out of stock item & ship it once it comes in.
