I ordered my cake knife and server, my unity candle with 2 tapers, bubbles, fans, garter and throw garter and sign in book. None of the items were recieved. I had ordered everything 5 weeks before the wedding. When I arrived to the resort for my destination wedding the box from The Wedding Channel Store did not arrive. I called and the customer service agent was very nice and apologized saying the cake knife and server was put on back order and that no emails were sent out so she said the company would overnight the box to me without the cake knife and server. The following day I did not recieve the box and I hoped it would come the day of the wedding but it did not. For some reason the box was not sent overnight and I did not have any of these items for my wedding. The box on the tracking system actually arrived 1 1/2 weeks later, which at that point was returned to sender by the hotels event planner. I was no longer at the resort. I am now still waiting on a full refund which they will not do until they recieve the items back. I am very dissapointed with the lack of service this company has to offer. If you order from them, make sure you call and check on your items as they do not send an email or any communication when an item is on backorder. I made due with using a headband one of my bridesmaids had for the garter and a plain candle for the unity candle. We didn't have bubbles or the fans etc. I do not understand why their system does not show a wedding date since I was signed up under the knot with the date online. You only have 1 date/deadline for a wedding and putting items on backorder without sending an email to let me know was a very poor way of organizing their business.
