I ordered an item from venue.com on October 5, 2009. After 3 weeks the item was listed as backordered. I called Venue and they stated that the item was to be shipped on Nov 2nd. As of November 6, I have been charged by Venue and after calling Venue they stated that the item is still listed backordered and to call back within a week. I asked the CS Rep to cancel my order and credit my account. He stated that it has been over 30 days and that this has to go to the corporate office and he stated to continue to make the minimum payment on the account until they clear the charge which could be 2 billing cycles. This is simply a cancellation and not a return. He refused to credit my account and stated that this is not his department. I don't understand why I should have to pay for an item, full or minimum if I haven't received the item. I don't see anything posted on their website where it states this. I do see for items returned, but this is not a return. This is an order cancellation.
